About Aytza
Aytza is building the future of strategic consulting. We're an AI-native consulting firm that merges the depth of human expertise with the precision and speed of AI, designed from the ground up for healthcare startup leaders.
We flip the traditional consulting pyramid on its head: a core AI engine powers our data and analysis (with humans in the loop), enabling experienced advisors to support startups in a leaner, faster way. Our clients are CEOs and founders navigating complex, high-stakes decisions in the healthcare space, such as launching new products and services, developing M&A strategy, or US market entry.
We’re an early, but fast growing company and this is an exciting opportunity to shape how we work as we grow the business from the ground up.
The role
We're looking for an AI-Savvy Strategy Consultant (actual job title open for discussion) to join our team. This role will focus on developing and delivering strategic insights while contributing to the development of our AI-powered tools and workflows. You’ll experiment with different tools and approaches and turn ideas into structured assets and repeatable systems. You’ll work directly on both external client-facing strategy projects and internal systems development.
This role is remote with ET business hours preferred and occasional travel (3-5 times a year) to meet with the team in person. We are open to candidates in the U.S. and internationally, provided you can work ET hours and are a short direct flight from the US East Coast. Note, we cannot sponsor a US work visa.
What you’ll do
- Work with clients on critical business decisions: Directly work with our CEO clients to help them ask the right questions and conduct the research to answer those questions
- Manage a team of AI Agents: Rather than managing a team of consultants and analysts, you will manage a team of purpose-built AI agents who conduct the research and develop outputs. You will be responsible for managing, guiding and QCing their work
- Create high-quality strategy outputs: Research and synthesize insights across a range of strategic topics. Using our AI tools you will produce clear, well-structured content such as decks, models, or working docs
- Develop internal methods and tools: Create structured frameworks, templates, and models to enable repeatability and efficiency of strategic work
- Build AI-first workflows: Test, refine, and implement new AI tools to improve quality and efficiency, for research, synthesis, and internal enablement
What we’re looking for
You are likely a current or former consultant, who thinks that consulting is getting disrupted in the age of AI and wants to be on the forefront of that. You have a robust consulting and analytical toolkit, but are also creative in identifying new ways to do things. Concepts like anecdata, scenario planning, and back of the envelope get you excited. You love working with CEOs of startups and growth stage companies to help them make impactful decisions.
You bring…
- 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting and have a strong consulting toolkit
- You have managed teams and workstreams to deliver client work
- Experience managing client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a high-growth startup, or project-based strategic role where speed, handling ambiguity, and autonomy were required
- You’re an AI power user, fluent in prompt engineering, with experience experimenting and testing new tools
- You thrive in an environment where you have to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining quality
- You’re collaborative and excited to be part of a small team in a fast-moving environment
You’ll stand out if you have…
- Healthcare or health tech industry experience
- Experience at an early stage startup or a boutique consultancy
- Investor experience, such as VC or PE
You might not be a fit if...
- You need detailed instructions before taking action
- You dive deep into the rabbit hole rather than maintaining a birds eye view and 80/20 approach
- You prefer deep specialization over wearing many hats
- Ambiguity frustrates rather than energizes you
Why Atyza
- Work in a small, fast growing startup, disrupting the consulting industry
- Contribute to encoding decades of consulting expertise into AI systems that help leaders make better decisions
- Have access to the most cutting edge AI tools, working with an AI-native team
- Operate with high trust and autonomy in a collaborative and fun environment
- Work with CEOs of innovative health tech companies, helping them grow and scale
- You’ll have access to the most innovative healthcare startups, investors, and industry leaders through our extensive network built at Rock Health and McKinsey
